Kira Krümm Interior Design wins second design excellence award
Kira Krümm COURTESY PHOTO Kira Krümm Interior Design received its second Design Excellence award in two years from the American Society for Interior Design Florida South Chapter at its prestigious Design Excellence Awards function. The Estero-based firm won in the Residential Transitional Design under 5,000 square feet category. The Design Excellence Awards Competition is dedicated to the advancement of design excellence through recognition of outstanding and significant design. Kira Krümm Interior Design also received a Sand Dollar Award, known as the highest accolade given by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Collier Building Industry Association, for the same private residence located on Marco Island. The award was for Best Interior Design - Single Family Attached Private Residence $2,500,001- $3,500,000.
Blending a classic aesthetic with a modernized interior appropriate to the tropical climate was the concept of the project. Light background surfaces, transitional furnishings and soft natural colors were infused with darker finishes in furnishings and custom cabinetry to achieve the design in this luxury private residence.
