Free flu shots for veterans

Flu season begins in October and runs through March. The Centers for Disease Control recommends that you receive a flu shot every year to protect yourself. The Fort Myers VA Outpatient Clinic, 3033 Winkler Extension, is offering free flu shots to eligible veterans. Veterans may receive a flu shot at any scheduled VA appointment; if you are admitted to a VA facility; or at one of VA's walk-in flu shot stations. Advance appointments are not necessary.
