Collier The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc. announced the appointment of Christie Knight, the association's 2009 president-elect, to the Lee County Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Program. The appointment was recommended by Commissioner Frank Mann and approved by the board. The purpose of the program, known as Conservation 20/20, is to acquire and protect environmentally critical or sensitive land within Lee County. Purchased lands are then able to help preserve the existing biodiversity of Lee County and are important for conserving and enhancing our water resources.

Cypress Realty Inc. GMAC Real Estate announced that the Premier Selling Agent for September is Mimi San and the Premier Listing Agent for September is Tom Gehringer.

Pearl "Gigi" Collier has been named salesperson of the month for September at Verandah, the 1,456- acre master-planned community being developed by Bonita Bay Group along a 1.75-mile stretch of the Orange River in Fort Myers. After an awardwinning career as a top producer in Southwest Florida and Indiana, Collier joined Bonita Bay Group to help launch sales at Verandah in February 2003.
