New symphony subscribers can save on ticket packages
The Southwest Florida Symphony is launching three exciting savings packages for symphony newcomers who subscribe by Oct. 20.
The symphony is Lee County's premier professional orchestra is now in its 48th season. It features six concert series and more than 40 concerts performed from October through May.
The series include Classical, Pops, Sanibel Series, Around Town Chamber Series and a Choral Series performed in churches across the community.
"Our goal every year is to attract new people to the symphony," said Symphony Marketing Manager Andrew Bassila. "We recognize the economy is difficult this year for many people and we want- ed to give consumers an extra incentive to experience how wonderful our symphony is and maybe share an extra ticket with friends."
Three savings packages include: Create Your Own Four Concert subscription package mixing Classical and Pops (from $65 for four concerts), a free pair of tickets for subscribing to the Sanibel Series. (The series is priced at $75. Subscribers will receive a free pair of tickets valued at $50); and a free pair of tickets for Stained Glass subscribers. The four concert subscription package costs $58. The value of the free pair of tickets is $36.
Symphony Adult Chorus The Symphony Season begins later this month with Stained Glass Choral Concert and preview of the Choruses "European Tour Part 1" on Oct. 26, at 4 p.m. at The Village Church at Shell Point. The second concert of the season is a chamber concert, "The Prodigies," which will be performed on Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m., also at Shell Point Village Church and on Nov, 2 at BIG Arts on Sanibel.
