Mark Dennis, a Fort Myers High School senior, is interning as an office assistant with Woodyard Associates as part of the school's Academy of Finance, a three-year program designed to prepare students for financial responsibility

Dennis later in life. Throughout the internship, Dennis will research commercial properties for the firm's real estate agents and gain hands-on field experience by visiting listed properties.

John Heath has been named managing director of Esterobased Chiodo Properties' rental division. Heath is a native of Chicago, Ill., and a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he earned a degree in English. He moved to Southwest Florida in 2000. In 2002, Heath earned his real estate license and, prior to joining Chiodo Properties, was an executive for a Fortune 500 company.

Alex Wright, a transaction specialist with Woodyard Associates Commercial Real Estate, has earned Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, an achievement attained by less than 5 percent of all commercial real estate professionals. Wright was one of 100 real estate professionals to pass the comprehensive examination, which covers various aspects of commercial investment real estate, including financial, market and investment analysis. As a CCIM, Wright now has access to a number of exclusive CCIM resources, including the ability to market properties through CCIMNet, a national commercial property exchange.
