O'Sullivan John O'Sullivan of Cape Coral recently received the highest honor awarded to a Florida Guardian ad Litem child advocate — Statewide Guardian ad Litem of the Year. O'Sullivan has not only advocated for abused children for more than nine years, he has donated countless hours to recruit other volunteers and assist in their training and mentoring.
During the last year, O'Sullivan has had 12 children under his wing, volunteering more than 80 hours monthly advocating for them in court, within the child welfare system and the community.
