Jewish Book Fair coming up

The Jewish Book Fair of Southwest Florida, conducted by the Jewish Federation of Lee and Charlotte counties, will host 12 authors at six events in early November. The fair begins on Sunday, Nov. 9 with two authors speaking at 10 a.m. at Temple Shalom in Port Charlotte and at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Federation, 6237 Presidential Court, Ste. E, in Fort Myers. Sadia Shepard, who wrote "The Girl From Foreign," and Maxim D. Shrayer, who wrote "Waiting For America," will speak.

The fair continues with an author luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers. The luncheon speakers will be Joanna Hershon discussing her book "The German Bride" and Mary Morris discussing her book "The River Queen." Reservations are required.
