ArtFest receives press kit award

ArtFest Fort Myers, the city's premier juried fine art festival, was honored to receive a prestigious award at the Florida Festival & Events Association's annual convention, recently held in Orlando.

ArtFest Fort Myers won the Media Award for the Best Press Kit, created in-house, for the February 2008 fine art festival.

"Each year, our staff and interns work hard to produce an attention-getting, art inspired press kit to distribute to our local media," said festival director Sharon McAllister. "We were thrilled to be recognized for our efforts, especially since we had to compete with
