COURTESY PHOTO Landmark Development's new Valtalena model in Meditera has 5,807 square feet of interior space. Landmark Development Group's new Valtalena model in Mediterra has nearly as much under-roof and open-air outdoor living space as it does inside. A covered lanai measuring more than 1,000 square feet combines with an open-air pool deck to offer a variety of al fresco spaces with views of a lake and the 15th fairway of The Club at Mediterra's Tom Faziodesigned North Course.

The just-completed Valtalena, in the Padova neighborhood, has four bedrooms, four full baths, a powder bath and pool bath within its 5,807 square feet of interior living space. A three-car garage, the outdoor living area and entry bring the model's total square feet to 7,856 — a figure that doesn't include the expansive pool deck.

Mediterra is the 1,697-acre master community created by Bonita Bay Group in North Naples. The community, created with the intimacy, charm and classical style of the Mediterranean region of Europe, is a fitting canvas for the Valtalena, which features soft Mediterranean architecture accented by columns, precast stone detailing and bougainvillealaced walls.

The model also has a study; a living room with a 17-foot ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows, a precast stone fireplace and a wet bar and butler's pantry. Interior finishes created by Landmark Design include coffered, stenciled and groinvaulted ceilings, custom faux finishing, precast columns, custom cabinetry, and an inlaid marble border in the foyer floor. The model also has a galleria, archways and art niches throughout.

French doors in the dining room open to a private courtyard encircled by foliage. The dining room also has a wine room and a china closet.

The study has a wood floor, coffered ceiling and built-in desk and cabinetry.

The kitchen has two islands - one a center island, the second a breakfast bar - and offers dual sinks, SubZero, Wolf and Gaggenau appliances, granite countertops, a tumbled marble backsplash and a breakfast nook.

Pocketing zero-corner sliding glass doors in the family room open to the covered outdoor living space, which has automatic retractable screening, a cypress ceiling, a fireplace, and full summer kitchen, equipped with built-in gas grill and sink.

The Valtalena also has a custom pool connected to a raised fountain with bubbler and spillovers and a raised spa.

The master suite has multiple rooms, including an exercise room with juice bar, and a bath with his-and-her vanities, a separate dressing table and dual water closets. Its tub is positioned within a large window.

Each of the guest bedrooms has a walkin closet and private full bath. The VIP guest suite, located next to the outdoor living area, is treated like a second master suite and has a morning kitchen with sink and refrigerator and a private full bath with a separate shower and garden tub.

The Valtalena is priced at $4,595,000 and is now open for viewing.
