Storm Smart Industries honored

For the third year in a row, "Inc. Magazine" has named Storm Smart Industries to its "Inc. 5000" list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in America.

First named to the list in 2006, Storm Smart is one of a very select group of Florida companies listed three times in a row on the annual list.

Recognized as the largest hurricane protection company in South Florida, Storm Smart Industries has been in business since 1996 and has protected more than 40,000 homes from the ravages of hurricane-force winds and rain. Other recognition includes accolades from The News-Press "Best Of" awards, the 2007 Growth Award from the Lee County Economic Development Office Horizon Council, as well as a resolution from the Lee County Board of County Commissioners.
