Mercado Jr. Roger Mercado Jr. has been appointed a personal lines associate at Oswald Trippe and Company Inc. He will be based in the company's Fort Myers office. Mercado was most recently owner/manager of Patio 33 restaurant

located in the River District. He has also served as program manager in Lee County's Department of Human Services. During his tenure with the county, Mercado received state and national recognition for the creation of a restorative justice program for victims of crime, the community and youthful offenders. Mercado holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and a master's in social work from Barry University, Miami.
