'Art of the Quilt' on exhibit at Alliance for the Arts

Artists create in many different ways. For some it is with paint and canvas, while others form clay and steel. For members of Art Quilters Unlimited, it is the patterns, colors, and textures of fiber and cloth that inspire creativity.

In the new exhibit at the Alliance for the Arts, "Art of the Quilt," hosts a contemporary group of art quilters and fiber artists who display recent works from some of their 58 members.

The show will be on display in the main gallery through Oct. 4.
