But after Tropical Storm Fay, the Fort Myers-based company decided to pick up the leftover scraps off the factory floor, and use them to make "green" tote bags, like the ones found in grocery stores. The back-to-school Sneaker Drive for Laces of Love will be extended until the goal of 500 new pair of shoes is reached.
