King Rod H. King has been named publisher of Naples Florida Weekly. The newspaper begins publishing on Oct. 2. King has been a successful media executive for over 28 years on both the client and media side. He was the market publisher for Florida Designers Review. Prior to that, he was business development director at n Media Group where expanded n magazine sales and profits and launched or improved several successful titles, including Space Coast Living, Foyer, Lee Magazine, n good health and Golfing Naples & Southwest Florida. He has a graduate degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor's from Florida Southern College.
