"When she told me she won, the phone was breaking up, so I had to ask her if I heard right," said Antik, a resident of the Mediterra community, being developed by Bonita Bay Group in North Naples. Fort Myers city council awards $101,900 in arts and culture grants
The City of Fort Myers has awarded $101,900 to 36 arts organizations and individuals. This is the seventh year the city has awarded grants to non-profit organizations and individual artists. Since beginning the Arts and Culture Grants program, the city council has given nearly $400,000 to 107 individuals and organizations. Full Story
