Miracle fans ticketed for wearing their seat belts
The Florida Department of Transportation Safety Office has partnered with the Fort Myers Miracle to encourage Miracle fans to buckle up. Local law enforcement will be "ticketing" motorist and their passengers for wearing their seat belts in the "You have been ticketed" promotion. Full Story
Florida lobster season's about to begin
Recreational and commercial harvest seasons for spiny lobster in Florida are set to reopen soon. The special two-day spiny lobster sport season comes first, on July 30 and 31, followed by the regular lobster season, which begins on Aug. 6 and extends through March 31. Full Story
