Art of the Olympians: Let the games begin

The Art of the Olympians will host a celebration at The Venu on First Street in downtown Fort Myers on Friday, Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m. to promote the fusion of the sport and art worlds.

Art of the Olympians will introduce guests to the world of Olympian artists as they enjoy the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Olympic Games. A limited number Al Oerter "Passion" prints will be given away at the event.

The event is free of charge. Food and cash bar will be available.
