Berke Berke Local attorney, Bill B. Berke, of the law firm Berke Lubell, P.A., has been elected to the Florida Justice Association Board of Directors. Berke, who specializes in workers compensation law, is currently the only attorney in Southwest Florida to be serving on the board. The Florida Justice Association is made up of more than 3,800 Florida lawyers dedicated to upholding the rights of individuals and consumers within the state's justice system. Berke is also currently serving on the board of Florida Workers' Advocates, which is the State of Florida's employee/claimant's lawyer organization. He is a member of the Lee County Bar Association, and the Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Executive Counsel.

Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. Director Jason Korn has been appointed to serve on the Florida Bar Association Professional Ethics Committee. His term begins in July. The committee publishes formal opinions that serve as a guide in interpreting and applying ethics rules for Florida Bar members. The 40-member committee is comprised of attorneys from throughout Florida. Korn will serve a three-year term. He served two previous terms on the committee from 1999-2005. Korn is based in the Cohen & Grigsby offices in Bonita Springs, Florida.
