Naples Publick Theatre holding auditions

The newly organized Naples Publick Theatre, dedicated to free Shakespeare in the park, will hold auditions for its inaugural production, "The Comedy of Errors," Monday, July 14, 6-8 p. m.

The Shakespeare play will be presented at the Norris Center Amphitheatre in Naples during November and December. The production is non-union and volunteer. All roles are open.

Part of the Naples Publick Theatre mission is developing talent. It is particularly interested in seeing young actors who have some high school or college experience. Several young men and women are needed. They will be on stage most of the performance, taking part in the action, and one female will have a significant speaking part. In addition, the theatre is looking for older men, and a male who might be interested in a drag role.

The Theatre is also seeking a stage manager, light-sound techs, wardrobe and prop mistress/master, and any other parties who wish to be involved. There are also opportunities in administration, management, and board development. Send an e-mail stating your interest, or resume where applicable, to d@DonatoPresents. com.
