Best Western completes remodeling project
COURTESY PHOTO The Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront. The Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront hosted an unveiling Monday, June 2 to showcase the completion of the property's $1 million renovation.
The event showcased newly remodeled guest rooms and public areas as well as introduced additions to the property including a new eatery and boat launch service.
The renovation project began in May 2007 and was completed in January 2008. It was a major overhaul that included carpets, draperies, shears, furniture and lighting. The hotel incorporated an expansion of public areas, added a business center, exercise room and a meeting room for 60 theatrestyle.
Best Western donated existing hotel furniture to the local Habitat for Humanity and ICAN organizations.
The new bar and grill eatery, the North Fort Myers Tavern, joins Pincher's Crab Shack and IHOP.
