Casting call for kids 7 to 18
The Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida will be hosting an open casting call on Sunday, June 15 for aspiring actors and actresses ages 7 to 18 wishing to appear in a local marketing campaign involving a television commercial / public service announcement and print materials.
With Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott as its spokesperson, CAC hopes to raise awareness of their capital campaign via this marketing campaign. Holding the audition will be commercial director Bobby Livingston, winner of the 2000 "National Media Award" from the National Mental Health Association. Local production company, Sun Studios, that recently began working with Miley Cyrus on a new DVD project, will also be coordinating the casting and shoot.
Children selected to participate in the PSA will also be photographed by noted local photographer, Brian Tietz, for use in the marketing campaign's printed materials, advertisements, etc.
The casting call will be held at the current CAC building located at 3900 Broadway, Suite B1 in Fort Myers from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Children cast will receive no payment, but will receive a copy the commercial for their portfolio.
