'A PEACE of Art' juried show next month

Arts for ACT Gallery in the Fort Myers River District will host a themed juried art exhibit as its featured exhibit for July.

"A Peace of Art" will showcase visual artistic representation of the effect or affect of PEACE on you, the community or the world.

This exhibit is open to any artist - 2D or 3D - any media. Artist entry fee is $8 for one entry, $15 for two and $20 for three.

The gallery will accept art on Saturday, June 28, Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cash prizes will be awarded with $100 going to the first place winner.

The opening artist reception will be Friday, July 11 from 6 to 9 p.m.
