Beautification Celebration and Block Party

1-10. Fort Myers Redevelopment Agency and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, celebrated as they showed off the Chamber and its surroundings in one of the most remarkable "makeovers" you've ever seen. Thursday, May 25, Lee Street from Edwards Drive to Bay Stree was closed - only this time it wasn't for construction purposes. It was the Chamber's one-year anniversary of being back in their building - and - the completion of their portion of the City's streetscape project. Local restaurants provided delicious food, beverages of all sorts, entertainment and a presentation produced by Don Paight to illustrate future work being accomplished.
