Urban Land Institute to host housing info program

The Urban Land Institute Southwest Florida District Council will host an event - "ULI Fellow Tour: Housing, Capital Markets, Sustainability and Infrastructure Program" on Wednesday, June 11. The program will be held at the Grey Oaks Country Club, 2400 Grey Oaks Drive, in Naples, Florida. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. with the presentation starting at 8 a.m.

The program is being presented by ULI's senior staff in advance of the organization's 2008 Fall Meeting and Urban Land Expo in Miami Beach in October. The featured speakers will include Tom Murphy, ULI/Klingbeil Family Chair for Urban Development, ULI President Worldwide Rick Rosan, and Collier County Commissioner Jim Coletta.

Murphy will provide his views on the current economy and how it is impacting cities and development, especially as they relate to ULI's priority areas of housing, capital markets, sustainability and infrastructure. Rosan will discuss the ULI, how its outreach is global as well as local, and what the Fall Meeting and Urban Land Expo mean for ULI and how it has made ULI the place to share best practices in the real estate and land use profession.

The cost of the program is $30 for ULI members, $35 for non-members, $20 for young leaders, $15 for government members, and $20 for students. For additional information or to register, please call the ULI Southwest Florida District Council at 1-800-321-5011.
