Devcon Security Services has developed a Monitored Marine Security System, an industry first that combines an on-board blaring siren with remote dispatch to marine patrol, dock master, or other emergency contacts. "Our clients have been conditioned to expect a superior level of protection for their residential and commercial properties," said Devcon's Southwest Florida Manager Ed Warminski. "It was incumbent upon us to provide that same security level for their boats, docks, and davits."

Recent statistics show boat thefts on the rise in Southwest Florida as the economy worsens and the opportunity for an easy getaway continues. The Devcon Monitored Marine Security System is designed for use in the marine environment to combat today's boat theft situation. With monitored hatch and cabin protection, Devcon's new technology protects against those who would steal valuable contents, not just the boat itself.

Devcon Security Services Corp. is the eleventh largest security monitoring and alarm company in the U.S. and the second largest in Florida, providing electronic security services to more than 140,000 commercial and residential customers.
