Health System holds education fair

Lee Memorial Health System employees and members of our community are invited to attend education fairs during the month of May.

The fairs are intended to be eye-openers for anyone who may learn about careers that they had never considered or didn't even know about, says Brad Pollins, System Director for Organizational Effectiveness. "We want our employees to build their skills, so that, hopefully, they can build their careers," Brad says.

This is the fourth year for the LMHS Education Fair. This year's educational institutions include The College Network, HITech North and Central, Walden University, Phoenix University, Barry University, Nova Southeastern University, Edison College, Southwest Florida College, Florida Gulf Coast University and Hodges University.

Representatives from LMHS' Clinical Education, Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness will also be on hand. There will also be information about the Career Assessment Program and the School at Work Program. The events are:

May 21 HealthPark Atrium 7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

May 30 Southwest Private Dining Room 7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

"This event is not restricted to employees of LMHS. The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend as an education fair is a good place to start if you want to enhance your career or explore new options", said Mike Polito, Human Resources Strategic Business Partner - Work Force Planning and Development for LMHS.
