Well, none other than ABC television series "Desperate Housewives" hunky handyman, Mike Delfino.

The Fort Myers Miracle announced that actor James Denton will make a guest appearance Thursday, May 15 when the Miracle host the Tampa Yankees.

Denton will take batting practice with the Miracle prior to the game and will sign autographs from 6-6:30 p.m. He will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and then enjoy a fun-filled night of Miracle baseball.

The Miracle is giving fans opportunities to personally meet-and-greet Denton, before the 7:05 p.m. game.

Fans attending upcoming Miracle games can fill out an entry form at guest services or stop by the Miracle's Hammond Stadium offices, during normal business hours. Seven winners will be drawn from the collected entries.

Viewers of ABC7's "Morning Show" will also have the chance to go behind the scenes with Denton. Watch each weekday, from 5-7 a.m., to learn more on how you can be selected for special access. The season finale of "Desperate Housewives" airs on Sunday, May 18 at 9 p.m. on ABC7.

If you feel the need to further discuss your faulty pipes with Denton, the Miracle is giving you that opportunity as well.

The Miracle are auctioning off the chance for an individual and three of their friends to join Denton in this one-of-a-kind chance to enjoy the game from a stadium sky suite. All proceeds will benefit Denton's designated Fort Myers charity, The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

The on-line auction, on miraclebaseball. com, will open for bidding beginning on Thursday morning.

Desperate Housewives memorabilia will be given away throughout the night and fans will have the opportunity to bid on other game experiences. All proceeds will go directly to The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

The Nashville native has a huge love for baseball and is part owner of the Orange County Flyers (Independent-Golden League) in Fullerton, California. When not in front of the camera, Denton can be found at the ballpark supporting his team.

Denton's mother, Mary Jean Woolslair, was born and raised in Fort Myers. He is a relative to notable Fort Myers native John Sheppard and has been the grand marshal at the Annual Edison Festival of Light parade.

Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Miracle's Hammond Stadium offices or by phone between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The appearance by Denton will coincide with "Dog Daze" and "Thursty Thursday".

Fans also may purchase tickets on-line at www.miraclebaseball.com. The Miracle's on-line ticket system will allow fans to be able to select their exact seat location for each game and print tickets at home.
