Gator Country 101.9, the #1 country station serving all of Southwest Florida, announced that 10-year morning show host Valleri St. John has been named the Academy of Country Music Awards "Radio Personality of the Year" for all medium-sized radio markets across the country. The announcement comes less than two months after her initial nomination in the category, which featured radio personalities from Louisiana, New Hampshire, New York, and Pensacola. The Academy of Country Music Award Show telecast will be aired live on CBS on Sunday, May 18.
