Terra Firma newsletter debuts
Florida land planning is a complex and important issue that elected officials at all levels of government, policy makers and business leaders are actively looking for proposals to address.
To learn the latest news and information about land planning trends and issues, Land Planning Solutions (LPS), led by president Allison D. Megrath, AICP, will debut "Terra Firma," a free monthly e-mail newsletter.
"Our goal is to provide a resource to learn about breakthroughs and updates as well as how you can benefit from our unique brand of planning," Megrath said.
The debut issue features a story investigating the conundrum balancing future development with the preservation and conservation of Florida's agriculture and natural resources.
A certified land use planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Megrath brings more than 15 years of professional planning experience in both the public and private sectors. She is well-versed in the intricate aspects of land use planning, zoning and permitting that requires arcane knowledge and an ability to keep up with constantly changing laws.
Land Planning Solutions focuses on comprehensive and current planning, rural land stewardship planning consultation, variances, rezonings, due diligence, land entitlement strategies, permitting, and project management throughout Florida. The firm places a strong emphasis on rural sustainability and agricultural preservation in the heartland communities and counties of Florida.
Headquartered in Naples, Land Planning Solutions' business model uses strategic partners to offer full land use planning, zoning, permitting, engineering, architectural and surveying needs.
