Commerce Bank names directors

Florida Commerce Bancorp, Inc., the Fort Myers-based holding company for Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida, a locally owned and operated community bank, announced the results of its Annual Shareholders Meeting held on April 30 at the Royal Palm Yacht Club in Fort Myers.

By an overwhelming majority, shareholders elected the following directors to serve a one-year term: Joseph D. Reid, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Capitol Bancorp Limited; Mark L. Morris, President and Chief Executive Officer, Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida; L. Douglas Johns, Principal, Mid-Michigan Investment Company; J. Keith Arnold, Owner and Consultant, J. Keith Arnold & Associates; Douglas E. Crist, Principal, Developers of Southwest Florida Inc.; Michael L. Kasten, Principal and Owner, Kasten Investments; and E. Bruce Strayhorn, Attorney, E. Bruce Strayhorn, P.L.
