Kat Epple plays the Arcade Theatre

Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated flautist and composer Kat Epple, will perform a benefit concert for the Florida Repertory Theatre Monday, May 12.

Called "Music of the Spheres," the concert will feature Epple playing flutes from around the world, including Celtic, Native American, African, Suling and bass flute.

She will be performing with special guest musicians and performers, including: Chuck Grinnell, keyboard, D.L. Turner, harp, Lawrence Voytek, alternative audio, Nathan Dyke, percussion and didjeridu, Miko Amore, bass and James Taylor, mandolin. The original music will include a variety of musical styles and moods.

This fundraiser for Florida Repertory Theatre will be held in the Historic Arcade Theatre at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 12.

Tickets are $20 and are available at www. floridarep.org/boxoffice or by calling (239) 332-4488.

There will be an after concert party at Space 39 Modern and Contemporary Gallery and Patio 33 Restaurant in the Patio de Leon in the Fort Myers River District.

Florida Repertory Theatre is located on Bay Street between Jackson and Hendry in the Historic Arcade Theatre in the Fort Myers River District. Subscriptions (for Season 11) and single tickets are available.
