Celebrate Mother's Day free at the Estates

The Edison & Ford Winter Estates is offering free admission to any mother accompanied with her child to celebrate Mother's Day, May 11. Free admission includes a tour of the newly restored homes, the historic botanical gardens, the Estates Museum and Edison's Research Laboratory.

Mina Edison was mother to three children; Madeline, Charles and Theodore. The Edisons enjoyed many of the activities southwest Florida

has to offer while creating happy memories at their winter Estate. The Estates invites mothers and their children to create their own memories.

The Estates is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Estates is an official project of Save America's Treasures at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Florida Historic Landmark. For more information, contact the Estates at (239) 334-7419 or visit www.efwefla.org.
