Construction moving on first Condo/Hotel in Cape Coral

Construction is 25 percent complete on The Resort at MarinaVillage at Tarpon Point Marina said Grosse Pointe Development Company President Jim Crumbie.

The decks for ten of the floors in the 19-story building have been poured, interior framing is completed through the third floor and drywall should be hung in the first few floors by the first week in May. The Resort at MarinaVillage is being built by BBL Construction.

The resort is Cape Coral's first Condo/ Hotel and will feature fully furnished, two- and three-bedroom Condo/Hotel suites ranging in size from 1,235 to 2,195 air-conditioned square feet, featuring master suites, grand rooms and guest suites and private dining terraces.

Owners of the Condo/Hotel suites at MarinaVillage will enjoy all the amenities of Tarpon Point Marina, plus concierge and spa services, room service, housekeeping and access to a resort-style pool, spa and deck. The Resort at MarinaVillage will be managed by Fort Myersbased SunStream Hotels Resorts.

Whole ownership prices for the Condo/Hotel suites range from $630,000 to $1.4 million. Fractional ownerships are also available, with a 1/12 ownership starting at $84,000.

MarinaVillage will be a commercial, residential and retail center, within Tarpon Point Marina that will be open to the public. Pavilions situated along a waterfront promenade will offer boutiques and retail outlets, a day spa and fitness center. Restaurant plans include two casual restaurants with indoor and outdoor dining. Both will feature marina views, a full bar and award-winning cuisine.

Upon completion, Tarpon Point Marina will have 976 single-family homes, condominium homes, park homes and lake-view homes.

Situated at the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River, Tarpon Point Marina is located at 5902 Silver King Boulevard. The sales center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
