The Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida has elected the following officers for the 2008-2009 term: President, Ross H. Roberts; President-Elect and Program Chair, Paul McGrath; Vice President and Membership Chair, Daniel Borgia, Ph.D; Secretary, Karen Butler- Thompson; Treasurer, George Gilliland; and Immediate Past President, Richard E. Beightol. Newly appointed board members include: Vincent Modarelli, Owner, PRstore of Bonita Springs; Richard Plowman, President (retired), Bonita Bay Properties, Inc.; John Risk, President and Chief Operating Officer (retired) of MSX International, Inc., and director and manager (retired) of Ford Motor Company; and Jaynie Whitcomb, telecommunications executive (retired) with NextiraOne, Williams Company, Pan American World Airways, and current FGCU Board of Trustee.
