New Physicians join Lee Memorial
Lee Memorial Health System announced that the following physicians joined the medical staff in March.
• Charles D. Talakkottur, M.D., Hospitalist, obtained his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean and an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He has joined Inpatient Consultants of Florida.
• Donald Swanson, D.O., Family Practice, obtained his Osteopathic Degree from Nova-Southeastern University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an Internship and Family Practice Residency at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. Dr. Swanson is Board Certified in Family Practice.
• Moses Shieh, D.O., General/Bariatric Surgery obtained his osteopathic degree from Des Moines University. He completed an Internship and General Surgery Residency from Mount Clemens General Hospital as well as a Bariatric Surgery Fellowship from North East Surgery Group and a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Shieh is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and has joined Suncoast Surgical Associates.
