Kingfish Shootout next weekend at beach
The Fort Myers Beach Kingfish Shootout will be held Friday through Sunday, April 11-13 at Salty Sam's Marina, 2500 Main Street, Fort Myers Beach. Participating boats will fish areas from Fort Myers to Key West on Saturday and Sunday. Full Story
YMCA, bank team up for golf tournament
The YMCA of Lee County and Florida Gulf Bank will team up for a golf tournament benefiting the Strong Kids Campaign. The tournament will take place on Friday, May 2 with a 1 p.m. shot gun start at Heritage Palms Country Club on Six Mile Cypress in Fort Myers. Full Story
Lee BIA holding first 'Bricks & Sticks' fishing tournament
Open to Members and non-members of the Lee Building Industry Association, the 1st Annual "Bricks & Sticks" Fishing Tournament will be an event you do not want to miss. Anglers and their guests will begin the festivities with a Captain's Meeting on May 9 at Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral.
