Health System lecture will focus on child abuse
The Lee Memorial Health System Foundation will host its third installment of the Prendergast Lecture Series on Tuesday, April 22. The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. in the Manatee Room of the Clarion Hotel, located at 12635 South Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers.
This year's guest speaker will be Charles Wilson, executive director of the Chadwick Center for Children & Families at Rady's Children's Hospital in San Diego.
Wilson will address the current complex issues and factors surrounding child abuse in his lecture, "Moving Past the Pain---Converting Tragedy into Meaningful Action."
The Prendergast lectures are open to the public and are free of charge, but reservations are required. Call the Foundation office at 985-3550 for information or to register to attend.
