Tim Lykos of the Lykos Group in Naples, will go over several important considerations such as what to look for in a contractor and the contract, planning your project, change order procedures, lien law provisions, budgeting and costs and the "three bid myth."
Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. The Marriage of Murals and Faux
Tim Davis has brought back the art of old world mural painting. Using a high definition video presentation, he will show numerous examples of mural subjects, techniques and locations. Decorative Painting Specialist Linh Lam will tell you about cutting edge techniques and hundreds of specialty faux finishes available, giving you exciting new possibilities for your home. Together they will explain how mural painting can be combined with faux finishes to create unique and multi-dimensional applications.

Fast forward to the 21st Century with sophisticated Munsell and Pantone systems that allow us to customize our interior spaces and the world around us with infinite color choices. Maxine Corbett, ASID, NCIDQ , President, ASID Florida South Chapter (American Society of Interior Designers) takes you on a fascinating journey through the history of color.
