Clark Habitat for Humanity of Lee County announced the addition of six members to the Board of Directors: Glenn Bailey, Colonial Roofing, Inc. Owner/President; Dave Dale, Owen- Ames-Kimball Company, President; Sandy Robinson, Northern Trust Bank, President; Duane Swanson, Jr., Raymond Building Supply Corp., Vice President/CFO; Brenda Tate, a philanthropic community leader; and Sharon Thompson, Hughes, Snell & Co., C.P.A. Habitat for Humanity of Lee County has a total of 24 board members that oversee the operations of the organization.
Kevin B. Lewis, chief executive officer of Southwest Florida Addiction Services, announced that Dawn Clark has been appointed director of Adult Outpatient Services. In her new role, Clark will be responsible for all outpatient addiction treatment services for adults, adult drug courts in Lee, Hendry and Glades counties as well as the Employee Assistance Program. Clark brings more than 18 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field, both as a clinician and as an administrator. Prior to joining SWFAS, Clark was the director of the 30-bed Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit and the 10-bed Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit/Addiction Receiving Facility at Lee Mental Health, Inc., in Fort Myers.
Briggs The AFCAAM center announced the addition of three new members, John F. Gamba, Jr., Bobbee Gabelmann and Mary Briggs, to its board of directors. AFCAAM, which stands for African Caribbean American, is a non-profit organization working in the black community of Fort Myers to promote selfreliance and human dignity through empowering programs and the communication of Christian values. Gamba a businessman with 15 years experience in strategic consulting, technology development, venture capital and investment banking. Gabelmann is retired from the media and entertainment industry where she worked for more than 30 years in production and programming for TV stations such as WLS in Chicago, KABC in Los Angeles and WCBS in New York. She also worked in television production for Paramount Studios in Hollywood and developed staff and talent for syndicated programs such as Montel Williams, Jon Stewart, Judge Judy and Entertainment Tonight. Briggs is principal/owner of Briggs & Rogers, a full-service public relations and marketing firm based in Fort Myers. She previously served as corporate public relations director for Bonita Bay Group and as marketing director for Eye Centers of Florida.
