Book names local jewelry artist one of world's best
Mark Loren featured in international publication

Mark Loren Lee County Jewelry Designer Mark Loren has been featured in the recently published "Gemstones Masters: Major Works by Leading Artists" by Lark Books/Sterling Publishing Co. as one of 39 of the world's top jewelry artists. Thirteen of Loren's designs are pictured in the book, many from private collections.
The master artists were selected to appear in this juried collection by Curator Alan Revere, president of the American Jewelry Design Council, master goldsmith and an award-winning jewelry designer as well as writer, teacher, lecturer, curator and founder of the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, Calif.
"It is a such an honor to be published along with the likes of Bernd Munsteiner and others who I consider to be the true masters of our craft," said Loren. "Seeing my work printed as part of such a prestigious collection is very rewarding."
The contemporary pieces featured were selected based on the criteria of versatility and innovation in the use of exquisite gems with finely honed metal designs.
