First, Hendry streets closed in downtown

DOWNTOWN ROAD CLOSURES Workers have closed First Street from Jackson Street to Hendry Street and Hendry Street from First Street to just south of Bay Street for the next phase of the Downtown Utility and Streetscape Improvements Project. This will include the intersection of First Street and Hendry Street.

Lee Street from First Street to Second Street, including the intersection of Lee and Second Street is now complete and open to traffic.

Jackson Street, Lee Street, Bay Street, Edwards Drive and Monroe Street can all be used as through streets during this time to get around the downtown area.

This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather and unforeseen underground conditions, etc.
