KidzAct Brings Seussical Jr., the Musical, to Naples

Seussical, Jr. the Musical, presented by KidzAct, the youth theatre of The Naples Players, is coming to the main stage at the Sugden Community Theatre in downtown Naples for four performances only on March 24-25.

Seussical, the Musical, in its Broadway run during the 2000-2001 season, had many admirers who cited the value of the show's themes, the catchy score, and wonderful performances.

A combination of many of the beloved books of Dr. Seuss, Seussical, Jr. follows the story of Horton the Elephant as he protects a small speck of dust on which the Whos (of The Grinch fame) have made their home. Narrating the story, and making some mischief, is the Cat in the Hat.

This is a show for everyone who has read these books and loved them and for those who are young at heart.

The show will be presented at 5 and 7:30 p.m. on March 24-25. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults, and are available at Box Office, 701 5th Avenue South in downtown Naples, at www.naplesplayers. org or by calling (239) 263-7990.
