Baldi Baldi John Schallert, president of Spectrum Contracting Inc., has named two new shareholders to the firm.

Rich Baldi, vice president of estimating-new construction, oversees the specialty contractor's estimating and bid review departments. A member of the Spectrum team since 2002, he has special expertise in exterior painting, waterproofing and sealants and is certified in Carboline Fireproofing.

Jim Spadorcia, vice president of Spectrum and vice president-operations of the company's subsidiary Safezone, manages the manufacturing operations and marketing for Safezone. Originally from Massachusetts, he was previously the president of a restoration company. Founded in 1993 as a painting and waterproofing contractor, Spectrum has grown to a $40 million company with several hundred local employees.

Jamie M. Pirrello, CEO of Vision Homes USA, will be a featured speaker at the JPMorgan Private Builders Conference in New York City on April 8. Pirrello will address the audience of private builders and investors regarding the state of the Florida home building market. Earlier this year, Pirrello participated on a panel of speakers at the Big Builder '07 conference in Las Vegas, and he is the author of a monthly financial column for Big Builder magazine. Pirrello has 26 years of experience in the accounting industry, including 15 years at the executive level for three multi-milliondollar companies. He has served as CFO for multiple homebuilders.
