BIG ARTS film class to host producer

BIG ARTS film master class will host producer/writer Adrian Belic at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 in Schein Performance Hall at 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel.

Adrian Belic began making films in elementary school. During and after college he traveled the world and across America co-producing video and film.

In 1995, Belic co-produced Genghis Blues, winner of many domestic and international film festival awards including the 1999 Sundance Audience Award and a 2000 Academy Award Nomination for Best Feature Documentary.

Belic recently completed Beyond The Call, a feature documentary shot in Afghanistan and Asia about three Americans who deliver lifesaving humanitarian aid to war zones around the world. On March 3, BIG ARTS will screen the movie for $10; Belic will introduce the film.

Belic is a member of the Film Arts Foundation and the International Documentary Association.

Pre-registration is recommended. The cost is $20 per class for BIG ARTS members and students, $25 for non-members.
