'Art in Flight' takes off at airport

The Lee County Port Authority and the Alliance for the Arts have partnered to make the new "Art in Flight" exhibits at the Southwest Florida International Airport a success. Creative and planning committee members also include Florida Gulf Coast University, the United Arts Council of Collier County, and the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County.

Artists now have an opportunity to have their artwork considered for upcoming exhibits at the Southwest Florida International Airport. The entry deadline for consideration is March 13 before 5 p.m. All artists are encouraged enter this juried selection process. Categories are sculpture, painting (including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor, and mixed media), photography, prints and drawings (no crafts). An entry consists of one to three artworks.
