Walk to Cure Diabetes in April
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is hosting its annual Walk to Cure Diabetes at Florida Gulf Coast University on Sunday, April 20 at 2 p.m. The goal of the event is to raise more than $100,000 for diabetes research. Tourist season brings some uninvited guests
During February the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a report of an unknown female that entered a home while the owner was napping. When the home owner awoke, she confronted the intruder who stated, "I thought this was my friend's house." Kidney disease takes toll on area family
When Anice and Gilbert Haring decided to move from California to Fort Myers in April, they were full of hope. They were raising grandchildren Sara, 10, and Alyssa, 5, and the girls' other set of grandparents wanted them close by.
