Concha Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT announced that Mariana Concha joined the company's Fort Myers office. Concha is a native of Chile and a former appraiser with Expo & Associates. She will specialize in retail, industrial and office property sales. "We are very happy to have Mariana on our team. The growing Hispanic population in our area has created a need for Spanish-speaking associates," said Debra Johnson Shuey, Coldwell Banker Commercial Director, Lee and Charlotte Counties.
Jim Garinger, SIOR, CCIM, of Colliers Arnold has achieved the SIOR Industrial designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, an international association of professional commercial real estate brokers. Garinger is a principal and managing director in the Fort Myers office of Colliers Arnold where he specializes in investment sales. He has successfully completed over $100 million in transactions over the past two years. Having already earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, Garinger joins the small, elite group of agents to have earned both of the top commercial real estate designations. To achieve the SIOR designation, Garinger completed at least five years creditable experience in the highly specialized field of industrial real estate; and demonstrated to SIOR professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.
Boback RE/MAX Edge announced that Jim Boback and his commercial group have made the move to RE/MAX Edge's new commercial division with an office now located in Parker Commons on Daniels Parkway. RE/MAX Edge now has two offices to better serve the growing needs of Southwest Florida. The Lehigh Acres office is located at 5598 8th St. W.
Bonita Bay Group announced that the Mediterra real estate team has three new members.
Kelli Eastman has been appointed director of sales for Mediterra, the 1,697-acre master-planned community in North Naples. In addition to her new responsibilities, Eastman will continue as director of sales at Verandah, Bonita Bay Group's 1,456-acre master-planned community along the Orange River in Fort Myers. In her new role at Mediterra, she will serve as the community's broker and work closely with Realtors in the Naples area. A veteran real estate professional with over 20 years of experience, Eastman holds Florida broker and real estate licenses and has the designations of Certified New Home Sales Professional and Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing.
Eastman John Miller has joined the real estate team at Mediterra as a sales associate. Miller is a Certified New Home Sales Professional and has been a licensed real estate agent for the past eight years in Southwest Florida. Miller has extensive experience in sales, customer service and management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University.
Kristin Cavella, who has served as membership sales director for The Club at Mediterra for the last four years, has assumed the additional role of community representative on the Mediterra real estate team. After relocating from Atlanta to Naples, she earned her Florida real estate license, and sold general real estate in the luxury Naples market for several years. Cavella graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in hospitality management.
Miller Joyce Jurkowski has been named Salesperson of the Month for January at Verandah, the 1,456-acre masterplanned community by Bonita Bay Group along the Orange River in Fort Myers. Jurkowski joined the Bonita Bay Group sales team in 1996 at Bonita Bay as a certified new home specialist. She has been selling real estate in Southwest Florida since 1979. Verandah offers estate, custom and traditional single-family homes, villas and coach homes with home and homesite packages priced from the low $200,000s to more than $1 million.
