Guadalupe Center of Immokalee has made two new appointments. Barbara Oppenheim has been promoted to the position of executive director and Claudia Polzin has been hired as the new vice president of development. Oppenheim has been vice president of operations for GCI for the past three years. In her new position, she will now also oversee all programs, development, administration and finance. Prior to joining GCI, Barbara spent 27 years in New Jersey's public school system, both as a teacher and an administrator. Claudia Polzin joins GCI after twelve years with the Philharmonic Center for the Arts in Naples, where she held the position of director of development and outreach. Claudia has an extensive background working in many facets of the not-for profit setting.
