The Lee County Port Authority Airports Special Management Committee named Robert Taylor chair and Fran Myers vice chair at the committee's Jan. 29 meeting. Other members of the Airports Special Management Committee include Dan Baggot, Joseph Burgess, Jeffrey Fridkin, Rufus Lazzell and Kevin Ostrowsky. The committee advises the Lee County commissioners, sitting as the Board of Port Commissioners, on policy matters pertaining to Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field General Aviation Airport in Fort Myers. Each Port Commissioner appoints one Airports Special Management Committee member, who serves without compensation. The committee also includes two regional members who represent the interests of neighboring Collier and Charlotte counties.
