Unique ID Web Design now Atilus

Atilus, formerly Unique ID Web Design, is an Estero-based, full service web development company expanding into a national market by increasing its work force, moving into a new building and diversifying its portfolio. It pledges to remain true to its original mission of offering Southwest Florida businesses premier web site designs and development.

Unique ID was founded in late 2005 by Harry Casimir and Zach Katkin, two local FGCU students. After a little more than a year, they couldn't contain the work and both left their jobs to take the business full-time.

It now has clients established throughout the United States, from California to New York. Because of this growth, a name change was in order.

"Atilus tested well among our clientele and was a welcomed change for existing business partners," said Casimir, the company's director of operations. "And, most importantly Atilus is also my grandfather's name. It is a win-win situation: make the name smaller and easier to remember and pay homage to someone that made this dream possible."
